This club is a fun, accessible introduction to guitar in a small group setting, building confidence and basic musicianship while the children learn to play music together.

Sessions include rhythm and coordination games, simple chords and riffs, TAB and chord-chart reading, strumming, playing along with backing tracks and ensemble work. For those looking for something more, there will be creative activities such as making up rhythms, arranging songs or simple group composition.

Each week will be structured around plenty of modelling and short, achievable practice chunks, with regular retrieval of previously learned material and lots of opportunities to play together. The emphasis will be on steady rhythm, listening to others, musical independence and enjoying making music as a group.

Children are encouraged to bring their own guitar, with spare instruments available at the studio where possible.
